Your Child Is Mine Preschool is excited about our new beginning. The staff is excited about getting to know you and your child. A child's first years are special ones and we understand the importance of this time. To ensure that each child has an opportunity to develop fully, we provide a safe, clean environment filled with bright colors, favorite toys, and a warm, well trained staff. We invite parents to become involved in all aspects of their child's development. We welcome and appreciate any volunteer time parents can provide.

PURPOSE!

Your Child Is Mine Preschool has been created with the belief that children need to be provided with a warm and nurturing atmosphere that will be conducive to their ultimate growth socially, emotionally, and developmentally.

PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT!

The philosophy of Your Child Is Mine Preschool is to provide and support children and families by providing social and emotional development, a high quality education, and play environment. We value and demonstrate the ability of each child to learn and achieve in an educational and playful setting. Our effort is to teach toddlers the fundamentals for social structure, exploration, and an experimental environment to prepare them for Kindergarten

Our teachers believe strongly in facilitating the children's interactions with one another, helping and encouraging them to find their words and feelings.

• To create a positive beginning to the educational experience for all children.

• To help your child develop the verbal skills needed to achieve academically.
• For our staff to use developmentally appropriate methods to satisfy each child' s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
• To provide a loving environment where children will feel safe and free to be themselves.

METHOD

Growth and development is important for each child. At Your Child Is Mine Preschool, we are committed to enhancing the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child. Readiness activities include art, cooking, music, science, story telling, reading, and a free choice of activities.

Your Child Is Mine Preschool emphasizes language development: cognitive and motor coordination. Each child is encouraged to explore and learn at his or her own pace. Our program is designed to encourage children to trust themselves and prepares them to be independent.

STAFF

Here at Your Child Is Mine Preschool we take great pride in our staff. All teachers are professionals and are educated in early childhood education and development. We encourage this commitment by offering incentives for continuing education. This includes formal classes and course work, attending workshops, consulting with mentors, and participation in regularly scheduled staff meetings. Staff is encouraged to visit other programs in order to keep abreast of changes in the child development field.
